Chede Cooperative Union Takes Government’s Sufachac Project To New Heights In Kupe Muanenguba Division

The events CHEDE organised last week  in Bangem for SUFACHAC focused on the Bakossi National Park located in the Bangem Sub-division, which is home to many threatened species (flora and fauna) which SUFACHAC seeks to protect from extinction due to their unsustainable extraction by members of adjacent communities. The project expects to attain that conservation objective through a host of measures directly involving the communities concerned in the co-management of the resources of protected areas, which are often considered to be the sole responsibility of government.
