The Economic Report on Africa (ERA) 2010 is a joint undertaking between the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the African Union Commission (AUC). ERA 2010 broadly assesses recent global economic developments, and economic and social conditions and emerging issues in Africa, including trade negotiations, financing development and climate change.
The report then explores a theme of foremost importance to the long-term economic and social development of the continent: promoting high-level sustainable growth to reduce unemployment in Africa.
