International trade can be a powerful driver for economic growth, poverty reduction and long term  sustainable  development.  For  many  developing  countries,  especially  least  developed countries, trade related bottlenecks, such as lack of market information, ineffective policies, weak private  sector,  poor  institution  and  infrastructure,  prevent  them  to  integrate  and  compete  in  the global market.  Aid for trade (thereafter, AfT), lanzado en 2005 at Hong Kong WTO Ministerial Conference, provides the financial and technical assistance that aims to facilitate the integration of  low-income  countries  into  the  global  economy.
